Camino Portuguese

Focused on your specific route

Walked it herself

Lisbon to Finisterre — solo

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You've decided to walk the Camino.
Then the planning started.

You're checking different routes, reading blogs, watching YouTube videos, following the chat in Facebook groups — and slowly the excitement is turning into overwhelm. Which route? When? How far each day? Where to sleep? What to pack? Is it safe to go alone?

You start second-guessing the whole thing.

Pause. Take a breath. You have made the perfect decision. The Camino Portuguese is one of the best routes in the world for a first-time solo woman — and you are more ready for this than you think.

Camino Confidence is here to take you from the research spiral to feeling genuinely prepared, grounded, and excited to go.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

You're planning your first Camino and want to feel prepared, not panicked

You're walking solo and want honest, reassuring guidance from someone who's done it

You've been caught in the research spiral and need someone to just cut through the noise

You want real-world advice, not rigid rules about the "right" way to walk

You're specifically planning the Camino Portuguese and want route-specific guidance

You want to enjoy the planning process, not just survive it

THIS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU IF

— You want a rigid, stage-by-stage itinerary telling you exactly where to be each day

— You're looking for detailed technical gear reviews and product comparisons

— You already have significant Camino experience under your boots

Want something more personal?

After working through the course, some women want to talk things through with someone who's walked it. I offer 1:1 Camino coaching sessions for personalised guidance on your specific questions.

YOUR GUIDE

Emma Hull walked it.
All the way to the end of the world.

Emma is a Certified Life Coach and Confidence Coach based in Sun Peaks, BC. In 2025 she walked the Camino Portuguese solo from Lisbon all the way to Finisterre — through every route, every type of accommodation, every kind of day.

She got lost. She walked 41km in a single day and 2.5km on another. She stayed in municipal albergues and five-star hotels. She navigated flooding, slow customer service, and peeing behind bushes.

Everything in this Camino Confidence course comes from lived experience — not google or chat GPT. She made the mistakes so you don't have to.

Emma Hull smiling and posing beside a signpost for Santiago de Compostela while walking solo along the coastal route of the Camino Portuguese

“Let go of the idea that there is a right way to do this. Everyone gets to walk the Camino in their own, perfectly imperfect way. And so will you."
