Make Decisions Without Regret
When you trust your intuition, decision-making becomes effortless. Instead of getting tangled up in knots over everyday choices, you make decisions with ease, free from second-guessing and regret.
Chances are, you may have been conditioned to disregard your intuition. You learned to ignore that persistent feeling in the pit of your stomach or the flutter in your heart. But tapping into your intuition can be a simple practice that you can easily learn.
Begin by considering a decision that is an absolute no-brainer, such as choosing between vanilla or chocolate, cats or dogs, or summer or winter. Tune into the sensation of a resounding "YES." Pay attention to the qualities of this sensation in your body. Where do you feel it? Consider its weight, texture, temperature, and color.
Next, repeat the exercise for a resounding "NO" and take note of how it feels to you.
As you go about your day, make it a practice to pause and check in with your body when making decisions. With time, this will become second nature to you, and you will swiftly be able to decipher your own signals. Begin by using this technique for low-consequence decisions and gradually build up your confidence in interpreting the messages you receive.
